Law School

Well these pictures don't really have any thing to do with what I want to blog about, but Savannah in the little dress is adorable! (Thanks Nana Baldree, Grandpa Baldree and Chelsea- all the way from Hawaii!)

Christian has finally decided where he will be attending law school this fall. We are happy to say that we will be staying here in the Roseville area so he can attend McGeorge in Sacramento. Christian is really looking forward to starting in August. I am excited for him- but Savannah and I will miss him because he will be working during the day and going to school in the evening! He works so hard for our family. We love you so much Christian/Daddy! Thank you for all you do!

Happy Fathers Day Daddy!

Well we all look a little tired because it is early in the morning, but Savannah was happy and daddy was excited for his new gifts. Savannah and I got him a polo for Savannah- I know that doesn't really sound like it is for him but Christian got me a white polo for mothers day that matched a white polo he had so we had to get one to match little Savannah! And then he talked about a fabric steamer for a while so it was a surprise when he actually got one. But he said he was very excited to try it out. Happy Fathers Day Daddy! Savannah and I love you!

Great-Granny, Nana and Aunty Chelsea

Savannah got to met her Great-Granny for the first time today. So fun! We are so excited to have Granny here with us from Florida for the week! Savannah became a gangster when Chels placed her hat on Savannah's head. So cute. And then the picture of Savannah in her bath there were all of us watching around- she is so captivated by the falling water. It is so cute to watch her try to grab at it. Such a smart, sweet little girl. It took forever to get her to sleep tonight! She doesn't want to miss any of the action when people are here. When they left- she didn't make another peep! Smart girl.

I love my Grandma!

Savannah has been reaching to touch faces lately. So cute. She loves her Grandma so much! My mom stopped by for just a minute to say hi. We love you mom!

Loving Uncle Jared

Her face is a little funny in the picture- we have a serious delay on our camera so she is always looking at the camera like 'what the heck is that thing'. But she really enjoys Jared- Jared was the first one to get her to laugh really hard out loud and she is always giving him smile after smile. Jared and Dad came over for lunch today. It is nice that Christian and they work so close to our house and they can come visit for lunch sometimes. Family is great!

Daddy's First Experience

Christian had his first experience with feeding Savannah solids- her favorite- banana. I was trying to fix dinner so I was so grateful to have help with feeding her and dishes. I don't know if you can tell in the pictures, but it is EVERYWHERE! All over her face, bib, clothes, chair, hands, arms... Seriously everywhere. Daddy is a little more messy than mommy. So adorable though... mommy had fun cleaning up Savannah!

Leisurely Sunday

Christian, Savannah and I went up to my parents to hear them speak in church today. They gave great talks! The first pictures are the cousins enjoying each other. Hope and Bryce are SO cute! The others are of Savannah and me; she was the best she has ever been today! What a sweet girl! She is such a snuggle bug and incredible smart and inquisitive. Won't be too long before she will be down playing with Hope and Bryce on the floor- she sure was watching them closely today!

Trying to get that perfect smile

The picture of Christian and Savannah is priceless! The one with all three of us though is a little funny... I was trying my best to get her to smile so I was talking and Christian was tired of taking pictures- but of course still looks handsome. We did get an adorable smile out of Savannah though! She is SO cute!

Reading With Daddy

Savannah LOVES to read! She is finding that she can even turn pages and loves anything with lots of pictures. Daddy wanted to read the Tennis magazine- as you can see- Savannah wanted to turn the pages and hold it. It was adorable to watch Christian try to read it and Savannah try to take it. Guess who won?... She already knows who is boss... ;-)

I love SOLIDS!

We have decided to introduce solids- she has been watching us very curiously lately as we eat and was excited to try food. We let her try little bits every other day or so. So far she has had bananas, applesauce and carrots. She loves bananas. It doesn't look like it in the pictures from the faces but she loves bananas. When we took them away she started making very irritated noises. I think she is definitely ready for real food. I just need to go buy the supplies!
