Just a few cute moments

Savannah has decided that helping with the laudry is really fun. I have a little more laundry to do now that we are cloth diapering. It really is only one extra load so it is not a big deal but Savannah enjoys playing with any of the laundry that has just come from the dryer- I think because it is all warm. But she is so cute!
Yes, she is standing up on her own now and loves her new toy we got her. She is so proud of herself.
The other night she woke up and just would not go back to sleep. Since Christian was gone and it was only 8 I finally just brought her in our room. I was crocheting a hat for Hope and Savannah decided to try to help me... it took me 45 minutes to get the knots out of the yarn!
Here is Savannah concentrating and thinking about crawling. I didn't know if she would crawl because she has shown absolutely NO interest in it whatsoever but that has all changed the last week to a week and a half. She is really thinking about doing it- I just hope she doesn't learn before we go to Utah!
She loves to be naked... What more can I say. She loves it.

Pumpkin Pancakes

So I was craving pumpkin and decided Pumpkin Pancakes sounded good. We only had a massive can of pumpkin but I opened it any way- so we have had pumpkin pancakes... a couple of times the last few days. I love the recipe I found and Savannah does too! Her little face lit up with her first taste and she just sat with her mouth open for more. Well last night I made another batch and we sat down for dinner (Christian was at Law School) and she was SO excited. She really wanted to feed herself though, so I just let her. Messy yes, adorable YES! Savannah was SO proud of herself and I think enjoyed the pancakes even more when she could feed them to herself. It was super cute. I found my favorite pancake recipe! Here it is just in case you want to try it too... (for Savannah and I we used less oil and more pumpkin!) Hope you like them too!

Pumpkin Pancakes

1 cup All purpose flour
1 Tbs. Sugar
1/4 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1/2 cup Pumpkin puree fresh or canned
1 cup milk
2 eggs separated
2 Tbs. vegetable oil

Combine dry ingredients in bowl. In second bowl , whisk together Pumpkin puree, Egg yolks, milk, and vegetable oil. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Beat egg whites until peaks for then fold into batter. Makes about 12 pancakes.

Daddy's Little Girl

These are pictures I should have put in a month ago but kept forgetting. We took them on Christian's iPhone so they are not the best quality, but it is adorable to see her enjoy playing the drums with her daddy. Such a proud daddy!

Love of Magazines

Savannah is so funny, when she sees paper it just calls to her. She loves to try to eat it! But if I stick her pacifier in she doesn't eat it but she does love trying to rip it all up. The first 2 pictures are of a dress I saw at Macy's and couldn't resist! I think it is adorable! You can see Savannah is standing up now too. I was holding her obviously, but she loves to try to do it on her own.
